It’s been a fantastic World Book Day 2025 at Leigh Academy Rainham with staff and students dressed as their favourite characters. All year groups have an hour off-timetable with our visiting author, Nick Arnold, who wrote the “Horrible Science” series as well as special book-themed lessons throughout the day across all subjects. We have also had a ‘Mr Men hide and seek’ competition running all week. We are so proud of our students for getting into the spirit of World Book Day and for all of the fantastic conversations that we have heard about books throughout the morning.
